Contemporary society is often noted for its complexity, and there are calls for educators and institutions to prepare young minds to navigate the challenges it poses. What do we mean when we say something is “complex”, and how might thinking routines help young people engage complexity? This session, led by Project Zero researchers Flossie Chua and Jessica Ross, involves participants in considering these questions through the exploration of a global issue using new thinking routines developed at Project Zero.
