Daniel Wilson

Principal Investigator

A principal investigator at Project Zero, Daniel is also a lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where he teaches and researches topics of collaboration, designing learning places, and workplace learning. 

PZ Work

Daniel currently leads several projects at PZ, including the Designing Learning Places (DLP) Lab. Much of his focus is understanding the qualities of places and how they support fundamental states of human development, including agency, belonging, curiosity and satisfaction.  

 

Other notable current and past projects include the Learning Innovations Lab (LILA), Learning Outside-In, Pedagogy of Play, Leading Learning that Matters, and Teaching for Understanding. He was the faculty chair of the Learning Environments for Tomorrow (LEFT) Institute and served as director of Project Zero from 2014-2023. 

 

Where to Find Daniel

When not at PZ, Daniel can be found tinkering in his workshop and playing drums in several local bands.
