Paula Laurel Jackson
Laurel is a global education strategist, consultant, lecturer, and speaker with 16 years of experience advancing intercultural learning and compassionate leadership across continents.
PZ Work
Laurel is a senior research fellow at Project Zero where she works on the The Good Starts Team and The Open Canopy. She brings to this work a four-generation family legacy in education and a life lived across three continents, experiences that have shaped her enduring curiosity about how educational systems recognize, cultivate, and shape the lives of the children who move through them.
She is the developer of "Relational Cartography," an emerging research framework that maps the invisible architecture of relationships in classrooms and schools.
Beyond PZ
Laurel has founded and led intercultural education initiatives globally, including ventures in the educational technology sector. She currently serves as an adjunct lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and holds a Ph.D. in Education from the University of London, an M.Phil. from the University of Cambridge, and an M.Sc. from the University of Oxford.
