PZ Doctoral Fellows

Taking on society’s most complex issues.

Launched in 2023, the PZ Doctoral Fellows program is a year-long funded opportunity for two to three advanced doctoral students who are committed to doing research that addresses issues of social justice and equity and involves historically marginalized or underserved communities.

About

A year-long funded opportunity for two to three advanced doctoral students, the program offers a chance for fellows to engage in and contribute to PZ's intellectual community while advancing their independent doctoral work. Fellows:

  • Participate in PZ community meetings and discussion groups
  • Make connections to PZ researchers and projects
  • Attend at least two conferences or workshops
  • Present their work to the PZ community
  • Receive regular mentorship and feedback through biweekly cohort sessions held at PZ

This program aims to support talented emerging scholars while enriching the critical dimensions of PZ's ongoing research and professional development agenda.
