Carin Aquiline is research assistant on the Making Learning and Thinking Visible in Italian Secondary Schools project, which examines how the Making Learning Visible and Visible Thinking frameworks can be adapted in Italian secondary schools to support the creation of cultures of thinking, learning and understanding. She previously worked with Project Zero as a teaching fellow at the Harvard Graduate School of Education, an online course coach, and a workshop facilitator. Carin taught high school English and English as a Second Language for close to a decade, then worked as an instructional coach focusing on adolescent literacy development and inquiry-driven teaching and adult learning.
