EcoMUVE and EcoMOBILE

With funding from the Institute of Education Sciences, the Understandings of Consequence Project collaborated with HGSE Professor Chris Dede to develop EcoMUVE, an immersive computer environment designed to teach middle school students to reason about causal complexity in environmental science. With National Science Foundation funding, project staff are now developing and testing EcoMOBILE, designed to use with EcoMUVE software and to extend student learning with mobile technologies through field trips to a local pond environment.
