Christopher Pupik Dean
- Researcher
Christopher G. Pupik Dean is an educational researcher and teacher educator whose work focuses on theories of learning, teacher education, and citizenship education in elite institutions. Pupik Dean is a former high school science teacher who joined Teach for America and taught in North Carolina for 5 years. During his time in North Carolina, Pupik Dean also worked for Teach for America at the Atlanta Summer Institute. Pupik Dean is currently based at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education where he directs the Penn Residency Master's in Teaching program, conducts research on teacher education, and teaches social foundations and field seminar courses. Pupik Dean holds a PhD in Education, Culture, and Society from the University of Pennsylvania.
